The Land Management System (SIGEF) is an electronic tool developed by the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA) and the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA) to support land governance in the national territory. It carries out the reception, validation, organization, regularization and availability of georeferenced information on the boundaries of rural properties, public and private. Through SIGEF, the certification of data related to the limits of rural properties is carried out (§ 5 of article 176 of Law No. 6,015, of December 31, 1973)
