"Why do transit infrastructure projects in New York cost 20 times more per kilometer than in Seoul?" With the aim of answering questions like these, the Transit Costs Project, from NYU, is building a dataset that already covers more than 500 urban railway projects worldwide. For each project, the dataset specifies the city, year of start, year of completion, railway length, number of stations, total cost, and much more.
