Citizen Service (Gesac) offers free broadband internet connection - via terrestrial and satellite - to telecentres, schools, health units, indigenous villages, border posts and quilombos. Gesac is primarily directed to communities in a state of social vulnerability, throughout Brazil, that have no other way to be inserted into the world of information and communication technologies.
