INSPIRE Index Polygons are an open-source dataset, developed to meet the INSPIRE Directive. It contains the locations of registered property in freehold land in England and Wales. It is a subset of the Index Polygons database for all land and property. INSPIRE Index Polygons are divided into separate data files for each local authority area in England and Wales. If a polygon falls on the boundary between local authorities it will appear in both the local authority data files.
