SinPatinhas – Brazilian National Pet Registry

SinPatinhas – Brazilian National Pet Registry

It is an innovative system developed by the Federal Government to manage and monitor public policy on animal population control. Focused on neutering and microchipping initiatives, the system allows for the registration of animals, detailed monitoring of procedures performed, and the generation of comprehensive reports. Its main objective is to centralize information about dogs and cats and their guardians, in accordance with Law No. 15,046, of December 17, 2024, and Federal Decree No. 12,439, of April 17, 2025, which regulates the creation of the National Registry of Domestic Animals. It includes identification, address, and contact information for guardians and their animals, as well as details about the animals, such as species, breed, age, vaccinations, and diseases, representing a significant advance in combating mistreatment and controlling zoonoses. It allows for the registration of animals that are intended for companionship or are raised as pets.
