The National Registry of Conservation Units (CNUC) is maintained by MMA with the collaboration of federal, state and municipal managing bodies. Its main objective is to provide a database with official information from the National System of Conservation Units. In this environment, the physical, biological, touristic, managerial characteristics and georeferenced data of the conservation units are presented. Thus, society will be able to follow the results of government actions to protect the national biological heritage.
